Algo trading software to build, backtest and paper trade strategies
Build it. Backtest it. Paper-trade it. Then decide.
Design strategies with visual blocks, test them on historical data with fee and slippage estimates, practise with virtual money, and only if you choose run them through your own exchange account with your own API keys. AKQX is software: no advice, no custody.
AKQX QuantumTrade is algorithmic trading software for crypto and Indian equities. It lets you build strategies with visual blocks, backtest them on historical data with fee and slippage estimates, practise with virtual money (paper trading), and, only if you choose, run them through your own exchange account with your own API keys. AKQX is software only: it gives no investment advice and holds no customer funds. It is not a SEBI-registered Investment Adviser or Research Analyst, and it is unrelated to quantum computing.

Market data and integrations
AKQX is independent software. It works with the services below, and names them only to say what you can connect or which public data is shown.
AKQX-provided data, free
Where AKQX shows market data (charts, order flow, paper trading), it is shown under our arrangements with data providers and subject to their conditions. It is for your own information, availability may be limited, and it can change or end without notice.
Your own data
Work with your own data and use it easily for your own analysis, live or historical. You can connect your own exchange or broker account with your own API keys, or export your data yourself and import it, where supported. You are responsible for the provider's terms.
Use whichever you prefer
Use the data AKQX provides, your own data, or a mix. Data is always for your own use and may not be copied, redistributed or resold.
Crypto exchange account
You connect your own exchange account with your own API key. Orders go from your account; keys should have read and trade permissions only. We never hold your funds.
Public market data
Public market-data feeds power the crypto charts and footprint order flow shown in AKQX. The data is for your own information, may be delayed or inaccurate, and may not be copied or redistributed.
Broker account
Charts and paper trading for Indian equities, with an account connection through the Brokers page. We do not offer real-money execution for Indian equities.
AKQX QuantumTrade is an independent software company. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any exchange, broker or data provider. Market data is for your own information inside AKQX, may be delayed or inaccurate, and may not be copied or redistributed. Our research database holds about 4.15 crore historical candles collected from public exchange and broker feeds (crypto and Indian markets), used for backtesting inside AKQX. We do not sell market data.
Risk management: circuit breakers and position-sizing guards
Circuit breakers stop trading after a run of losses or a daily loss cap. Trailing stops and partial take-profits lock gains in tranches. And when something looks wrong, you hear about it.
- Stop after N losses, cool-down, daily loss cap
- Trailing stop loss and partial take profit on every position
- Alerts for capital and margin, stale signals, broker rejections, stale data
- Real trades reconciled against the broker's own records
Broker rejected an entry order.

Reason: insufficient margin. No position opened.
Market data is stale.

Algo trading software FAQ
What is AKQX QuantumTrade?
AKQX QuantumTrade is algorithmic trading software for crypto and Indian equities. You build strategies from visual blocks, backtest them on historical data with fee and slippage estimates, practise with virtual money, and only if you choose run them through your own exchange account. It is software only: no advice, no custody.
What is algorithmic trading software?
Algorithmic trading software turns trading rules into automated or semi-automated actions: entries, exits and risk limits. It does not decide what to trade for you. AKQX exists so you can write down your own rules and test them before any real money is involved.
What is backtesting, and how does AKQX handle fees and slippage?
Backtesting runs your rules over historical data to see how they would have behaved. AKQX includes estimated trading fees and slippage in the result, so the numbers sit closer to real conditions than a cost-free simulation. Results are simulated and do not guarantee future performance.
What is paper trading?
Paper trading means trading with virtual money on live market prices. AKQX gives you virtual capital per market and broker-style margin, so you can compare what an algo does on live prices against what its backtest predicted, without risking anything.
What is footprint order flow?
A footprint chart shows the buy and sell volume traded at each price row inside a single candle, along with POC, imbalance and delta. AKQX shows footprint order flow for ten crypto pairs, on timeframes from 1 minute to 1 day.
What is the difference between backtesting, paper trading and live trading?
Backtesting uses past data. Paper trading uses live prices with virtual money. Live trading places real orders from your own account. AKQX keeps the three separate and in that order, and going live is always a decision you make yourself.
Is my real money at risk?
Only if you connect your own account and deploy an algo to Real yourself. Paper trading and backtesting use virtual money and historical data. Nothing goes to an exchange or broker until you choose it.
Do I need an exchange or broker account to try it?
No. The chart preview needs nothing at all. A free account gives you paper trading with virtual capital and backtests on historical data.
Do I need coding skills to build a strategy?
No. Strategy Builder uses visual blocks for entries, exits and risk, with multi-leg triggers. Smart Strategy Builder covers ICT and SMC style setups, SMT divergence and TDO/PSP patterns, plus price-action rules.
Which timeframes does AKQX support?
From 1 minute to 1 day, for both charts and backtests. Footprint order flow covers the same range on ten crypto pairs. Order-flow views for Indian equities are limited and still in beta.
Where does the data come from?
Market data comes from third-party exchanges and data providers and may be delayed or inaccurate. It is for your own use inside AKQX and may not be copied or redistributed. You have two options: use the data AKQX provides (free; provider approvals are pending, coming soon) or work with your own data, live or historical (connect your own exchange or broker account today; importing your own historical files is coming soon). Our research database holds about 41.5 million (4.15 crore) historical candles collected from public exchange and broker feeds (crypto and Indian markets), used for backtesting inside AKQX. We do not sell market data. See Market data and integrations below.
Can I use my own data?
Yes, by connecting your own exchange or broker account, which AKQX then reads live. Importing your own historical files is coming soon. When you bring your own data you are responsible for your provider's terms of use.
What is the algo scorecard?
It shows an algorithm's simulated and paper results: net result, win rate and number of trades. It is not a recommendation and not a promise of future results.
What do the algo scorecard verdicts mean?
A backtest is scored out of 350 and lands in one of six bands: Rejected, Review Required, Paper Trading Ready, Live Trading Ready, Professional Grade or Institutional Grade. A band describes how that simulated test scored. It is not a recommendation and not a forecast of future results.
Can a good backtest guarantee profit?
No. A backtest is a simulation of the past. Fees, slippage, liquidity and changing market conditions can all make real results different. That is exactly why AKQX puts paper trading between a backtest and any real money, as a second check on live prices.
Which markets and accounts work?
Crypto charts and footprint order flow, with real order execution through your own supported exchange account. Indian equities have charts and paper trading. We do not offer real-money execution for Indian equities.
What risk controls does AKQX include?
A maximum leverage cap, fee-aware position sizing, a fee-to-risk breaker, a minimum stop distance, circuit breakers that stop trading after a set number of losses, a daily loss cap, trailing stops, partial take profit, and Telegram safety alerts for stale data, rejections and margin problems.
Is my API key safe?
Keys are stored encrypted. Create keys with read and trade permissions only and never enable withdrawals. You can turn 2FA on with an authenticator app, and you can see and sign out every device that is logged in.
Can AKQX withdraw money from my exchange account?
No. AKQX never holds or moves your funds. Create API keys with read and trade permissions only and never enable withdrawal permission, and AKQX has no technical route to a withdrawal. Keys are stored encrypted and 2FA is available on your account.
Is AKQX SEBI-registered, and does it give advice?
No. AKQX is software only. It is not a SEBI-registered Investment Adviser or Research Analyst, and it gives no investment advice, recommendations or tips. Example strategies and templates are there for learning and testing, not as suggestions to trade.
What are the limits today?
Footprint order flow is available for ten crypto pairs, from 1 minute to 1 day. Order-flow views for Indian equities are limited and in beta. Orders are never placed from the chart.
What does a free account include?
A free account gives you 1 paper algo, 10 backtests a month, 3 saved strategies, 5 AI requests a month and 1 chart tab, plus an order-flow trial of 60 minutes a day on 5 separate days. The Advanced Chart preview works for 30 minutes a day with no account at all.
Who runs AKQX QuantumTrade?
AKQX QuantumTrade is operated by Akash Paikra, an individual founder based in India. The process of incorporating a company has started and is not yet complete; until it is, the platform is operated by the founder personally. Full details are on the About and Terms pages.
